Prayer Ministry

What a privilege it is to go in the Prayer Room, close the door to the world, open our hearts to our God, ready to approach His throne of grace and start to intercede for those in need. In that quiet room we come before our God, we confess our sins, we praise Him, and we pray for the lost, for our church, for our nation, and for those going through difficult times. Ultimately we just commit the need to Him. “…Whatever you shall ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive.” (Matthew 21:22)

Our faithful prayer warriors not only pray for those in need, but once the need is known, they continue to encourage them through prayer grams (written notes), phone calls, hugs, by reaching out with a personal visit, or just by verbally communicating God’s love to them or meeting a need when possible.

To participate, individuals or couples sign up for one hour a week. You choose from the availabletimes the time that works best with your schedule and then you pray at that same time each week. If something comes up and you need to change your assigned hour, just ask! We ask that our members keep all requests for prayer confidential. Through the years we have seen God honor the prayers of these intercessors in many ways, and we give Him all the glory. “…His compassions never fail, they are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.” (Lamentations 3:22-23)
