GET INVOLVED
Parent Ministry
Our goal in family ministry is to come alongside parents to help them succeed in raising their children to have a saving relationship with Christ and a Biblical world-view. We accomplish this through “Parent Connects” (parent trainings on important issues from a Biblical world-view), family fun experiences, family service opportunities, and “Parent Cues” (conversation guides based on your child’s current curriculum).
Children’s Ministry
Our mission for preschool and children’s ministry is to provide a safe and secure Christ-centered environment with opportunities for each child to explore in age-appropriate activities. Our goal is to provide an atmosphere that allows a spiritual foundation to be established and that also fosters spiritual growth. We desire to partner with parents in leading their child to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Children’s ministry is for children birth to 6th grade.
Student Ministry
College Ministry
Our college ministry exists to be the hands and feet of Jesus to our local college campus and its students. We have a Tuesday night Bible study (Crosspoint) that wrestles with the truth of God’s words and a year-round program (Adopt-A-Student) that partners with FPC to connect students from all over the world with people in our community.
Worship Ministry
Our goal as a worship ministry is to lead the congregation to “worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshippers the Father seeks,” John 4:23-24. We strive to help engage believers in intimate worship of God as an integral part of their lives.
Senior Adult Ministry
LifeGroups
The mission of First Baptist Church of Borger’s LifeGroups is to connect people in a safe relational environment for the express purpose of helping individuals to grow and mature in Christ. LifeGroups typically meet on Sunday nights at the church or in member’s homes and child-care is available. Contact the church office to learn how to get plugged in.
Prayer
MOMS
“Moms Offering Moms Support” is a group for mothers who have children birth-6 years of age. Through devotions, prayer, guest speakers, crafts, and good food we fellowship with other moms and with mentors who have raised kids and know the struggles. MOMS meets the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month at 9:30 in the Fellowship Hall. Childcare is provided.
